Dear Friends and Supporters of Hope House Babies Home,
Towards the end of June this year, an annual fund raising event organised by Safaricom, is the 42 Km Lewa Marathon. This year Hope House is privileged to have an entrant who is planning to complete this and raise
funds for our babies. Her name is Alison Ng'ethe-Kariuki. Below are her words as to why she is doing this.

"As part of my New Year reflections, not to mention some personal goals before I turn 40 at the end of this year, I decided to try and complete the full 42km Lewa marathon to be held in June. It is a rigorous 5 month

Hello again! Recent changes to Kenyan Law mean a lot of extra work and paperwork for us and we will need to employ 2 Social Care workers, all volunteers will also need a police records check- we will provide more details on this soon! The financial cost of caring for the children never changes regardless of the economy and all help is greatly appreciated. We now have a UK bank account to aid collecting donations and simplify transfers to Hope House Kenya! Since September we have sent several lump sums to help pay staff wages and rent. Thank you to all those who have donated.
